I recently used the GreatGuide unit on my trip to South Africa, and it was 100% excellent. My husband and I had no idea about the history of South Africa, so it was nice to be given small stories about what had happened where as we drove past it. I highly recommend it to all my friends.

The problem with driving yourself around a foreign city is often that you don’t know where you’re going, or what you’re passing when you get there. I used the GreatGuide unit for the duration of my two week stay around Cape Town and the Garden Route, and I didn’t get lost once! I also left knowing a lot more about the country than when I arrived, and I enjoyed many of the restaurants that were recommended. Great stuff.
